Recount on Western Springs

 hi guys,

Here is my recount story. It is about going to Western Springs.

Fishing with my dad in the holidays

 

We got up early in the morning and we went to the boat ramp. It was very quiet and empty at 5am in the morning. Dad and I loaded the boat off the trailer into the water. 

Once we were in the water I could see the sky tower and city. 

We drove to a bouy near Rangitoto island. 

We put bait on our hooks and dropped them in the water. 

The fish bite on the hook and tugging I pulled it up and I had caught a big gurnet. 

Fishing with my dad makes me feel good and I like fishing.

My Rube Goldberg machine project

 Hi guys,

Here is my rube goldberg machine. It was not as hard as I thought it would be to build it. I tried a few different ideas. One was a zip line with a barbie. It took a few hours to come up with my final design. 

But I like it. Hope you enjoy it. 

Do you have any ideas of what I could add next?

My story - The Two Lego Men

 

One day at 9pm a night there was 2 little lego figures that wanted to fly to the moon. 

They hopped into the lego truck and drove out of the bedroom he hallway and into the lounge. And climbed up the shelves to the lego space ship.

“Three two one” blast off!

It was cold at night. They flew across the room to the heat pump.

They realised they were hungry and flew to the kitchen cupboard. They climbed and opened the pantry door and found the chocolate. They ate all the chocolate. 

It was hard work flying and they were getting tired so they flew back to the bedroom climbed out of the space ship and went to bed.

Book review - Breathless

 Hi guys,

This is my book review.

The rugby championship is coming up and Tolo and his friends to to the other teams club rooms to change the tshirt of the mascot. Tolo has asthma and when they are running away his friends put him in a shopping trolly to help save his breath and stop him from getting asthma.

 I give it a solid 8/10 because it was not the best in my view.

Lockdown level 4

 Hi guys

I am been very bored during lockdown. I am happy and sad we are in lockdown again. Because I am happy i don't need to go to school but sad that I don't get to see my friends. 

We had to do a task about Golidie locks. Weather she was guilty or not and I thought she was guilty. Because she went inside the bears house without permission. It was dangerous going into the bears house also because they were bears and they could hurt you.

Today was a hard, we did lots of work we have been completing work from this term and last term i have been cleaning my drive.

Term 2 learning.

Today I will be talking about my term 2 as it is the last day of term 2 it has been such a hard term.

For maths we have be learning  about fractions. 

For Reading we looked at Kupe. He chased an Octopus and found New Zealand.

A few weeks ago we had a school disco. We danced around. I collected heaps of fluro bands that other people had dropped. I ended up with 35 of them by the end of the night.

Today we are having a movie day and finding out who won the Fale competition. I hope Totara wins.

 we built a big minecraft  house.  in my school fale rata got 28 mimun points

What I've done this week:

 

    On Thursday the whole school did the Fale Parade. We were singing our Fale chants. I am in the Totara Fale, our colour is green. We all wore our house colours. 

We also looked at Matariki and made some star art for it. 

For Maths I buddied up with Semisi. We looked at addition and subtraction problems. On Prototec I beat my current record. 

My Learning this week.

Antonio's story.

This week we have done spelling. We started fractions, and we learnt some things about how to order them. I went on Cool Math games to help me learn. 

For writing we wrote a story about a scary train.  

I'm excited that I have started my first blog.
